Brief Description of Key Responsibilities:
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides personal care to patients as directed. If certified, performs telemetry monitoring. Collects health status data and informs licensed staff when appropriate. Documents patient care. Responds to patient, physician and family requests. Performs other related duties as needed.
Experience and Other Requirements:
One year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and telemetry monitoring experience is preferred.
Previous data entry experience on a patient order entry system is helpful.
Ability to work effectively with all staff, physicians to ensure cooperation and excellence in patient satisfaction.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, showing initiative and being a self-starter.
Education, Certification and Licensing Requirements:
Current Nevada certification as a nursing assistant.
CPR and telemetry certification.
Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing.
